Hi Everybody

Welcome to Urmston Scene. Over the coming weeks and months we'll be looking at all things Urmstonian......

.....that said, this blog will also cover the surrounding areas of Flixton, Davyhulme and Stretford.

I was born in Cottage Hospital, Greenfield Road, Urmston, 55 years ago, subsequently followed by the birth of my son Liam some 27 years later in the same building....

...and for all I know the same bed :-)

....and followed even more closely, by my very wrinkled (at birth you understand) daughter Olivia some 2 years later.

So apart from 2 years between 1967 and 1969 when I had the good fortune to live in London, Ontario, Canada, I have spent my entire existence living either in Urmston or its surrounding areas.
